* Baling applications using hydraulic power units require minimal pressure during the initial portion of the work cycle and a high pressure for only a short duration. In these applications, the cylinder can extend at a high rate of speed under low pressure and then slow down to accomplish the final work stage under high pressure to accomplish the Krusher uses the Hi-Lo hydraulic power unit which will supply a high volume of oil at a low pressure for rapid cylinder extension and a low volume of oil at high pressure during the actual work portion of the cycle. The Krusher Hi-Lo power units are designed to utilize low horsepower motors and therefore offer cost savings over other hydraulic power units which need 3 to 5 times the horsepower to produce like pressures.
